Bryan Steel's history

Bryan has been one of Britain's top track riders for over a decade and in the last couple of years has made a major contribution to the success of the Team Pursuit squad.
A hat-full of world championship silvers (2000, 2001, 2003 & 2004), a world championship bronze (2002), a Commonwealth Games silver (2002) and an Olympic bronze in the discipline have come in the last four seasons. A silver in the Individual Pursuit at the national championships in 2003 reminded everyone of his talent.
Since starting cycling at 14 years of age, he has represented his country at junior and senior level many times. Bryan has ridden nearly every World Championship for this country since 1989, only missing 1994 because the UK didn't send a team and in 1998 because he broke a collarbone.
On top of all those World Championships, he has ridden for Great Britain in three Olympic Games (Atlanta, Barcelona and Sydney) and for England in three Commonwealth Games.
